WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. – Tony Woodie went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in Friday to lead the North Adams SteepleCats to an 11-6 win over the Upper Valley Nighthawks.
Nelphie Lopez went 3-for-5 in a 10-hit attack for North Adams.
Kellen Moore earned the win on the mound, striking out seven and walking two in six innings of work.
Steven Sams and Tyler Teceschi combined to allow one earned runs in three innings of relief.
North Adams (5-18) is home on Saturday evening to host the Keene Swamp Bats.
