Berkshire Food Project's Super Bite 2026

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Local chefs are coming together for a Chopped-style showdown to support the Berkshire
Food Project (BFP) on Friday, May 8, from 6 to 9 PM at Greylock Works.
 
Super Bite 2026 features chef-crafted "super bites," music, and a silent auction. 
 
All proceeds help Berkshire Food Project provide nutritious, no-cost meals to neighbors facing food insecurity and social isolation.
 
Tickets are available only in advance and sold out last year. Purchase tickets at the Berkshire Food Project website
 
Two ticket levels are available:
? Golden Palate – $175 Includes all chef bites, a drink ticket, entertainment, and provides 12
meals to those facing food insecurity and social isolation.
 
? Silver Palate – $125 Includes all chef bites, a drink ticket, and entertainment.
 
Berkshire Food Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to alleviating food insecurity and social isolation through daily meals and community connection.

North Shore Shuts Out SteepleCats

LYNN, Mass. -- John Hegarty gave up one hit in five innings of work on Saturday to led the North Shore Navigators to a 4-0 win over the North Adams SteepleCats in New England Collegiate Baseball League action.
 
Nklas Pavia went six innings on the mound for the SteepleCats, striking out six and allowing three runs.
 
Nelphie Lopez' double and Evan Meier's single accounted for North Adams' offense.
 
The SteepleCats (4-13) are home on Sunday for a double-header against Navigators (8-11) starting at 2 p.m.
