DALTON, Mass. — Central Berkshire Regional School District has announced registration for its 2025-2026 preschool and kindergarten programs.

Children must be five years old before Sept. 1, 2025, to be eligible for kindergarten in September 2025, according to district policy. Registration information is available via an online link

The district operates three preschool classrooms: one at Becket Washington Elementary School and two at Kittredge Elementary School. Each classroom includes students with identified disabilities and peer models.

The first step for preschool enrollment is to sign up for a screening via an online link. Screening will assess developmental, speech and language, motor skills, and vision.

The district anticipates high interest and will prioritize students entering kindergarten in fall 2026.

A lottery system will be implemented due to limited preschool spots. The CBRSD Student Services Office will contact those who sign up for screening to schedule a time and date.
