NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — North Adams Public Schools (NAPS) will hold registration and screening for both Pre-K and Kindergarten programs for the 2025-2026 school year.

The events will take place at Brayton Elementary School, located at 20 Brayton Hill Terrace.

Pre-K application and screening will be conducted on March 24 and 25, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Children must be 3 or 4 years old by Aug. 31, 2025 to be eligible, but current NAPS Pre-K students do not need to reapply.

Kindergarten registration and screening will be held on March 26 and 27, also from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Children must reach 5 years of age by Aug. 31, 2025, to be eligible. Current NAPS Pre-K students are not required to register.

Both registration and screening events will be conducted by appointment only. Parents or guardians should contact Carrie Silva, Student Records Specialist, at (413) 776-1673 to schedule an appointment.

As part of the application and registration process, parents will need to pre-register their child.  This can be done online at napsk12.org/new-student-registration, or during the appointment itself.  Required documents can be found at napsk12.org/registration, and should be uploaded online prior to the appointment if possible.
