HADLEY, Mass. – Dylan Blake scored a pair of goals Monday to lead the Lenox boys soccer team to a 3-1 win over Hopkins Academy.

The Millionaires conceded the first goal but struck right back when Caleb Ketchen set up Blake to make it 1-1.

About three minutes later, Lenox took the lead. Blake played a ball that came off a defender inside the 18 and fired home a shot to put his team on top for good.

It stayed 2-1 until the last minute of the game, when Hopkins was whistled for a hand ball in the box. Addison Hall buried the penalty kick for Lenox to provide the final margin.

“Despite the [record], the Lenox boys have been very competitive as the only Division 5 team in their league, playing up every game to either Division 4 or Division 3 opponents,” Millionaires coach Jedd Hall notes.

Lenox (2-8-2) will host D4 Mount Greylock for the second half of their home-and-home on Wednesday.
