Bruce Edmond Pierce, 73

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Bruce Edmond Pierce, 73, of North Adams, died on Dec, 27, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Bruce was proud to be a tissue and organ donor, helping the lives of many people meant a lot to him.

Bruce was born in Great Barrington, on Dec. 13, 1952, a son of the late Myles Pierce and Loydann (Perry) Pierce. Bruce attended schools in Great Barrington and graduated from McCann Technical High School. He was employed at Steinerfilm in Williamstown for 34 years and later worked part time at Walmart.

Bruce was active at First Baptist Church of North Adams and loved singing with Praise Team and Church Choir. Bruce loved the Red Sox, was a ham radio operator and was a member of the North Adams Elks. He loved history and was an avid reader.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Suzette Ann (LoPresto) Pierce whom he married on May 16, 1998. He also leaves his children, Tiffany Gray, Angelina Pierce and Corey Pierce, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Gene Pierce of Cheshire,  and sisters LindaLee Adelt and Barbara Delmolino, as well as nieces, nephews, sister-in-law Cindy Sears (Walter) and Margaret LoPresto. He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Woodcock,sister-in-law, Sandra Sullivan, and brother-in-law, Wayne LoPresto.

FUNERAL NOTICE: A celebration of life will be on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in North Adams. Donations may be made in his memory to the Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247. We are so heart broken by the loss of Bruce, he played such a huge part in our lives.
