Author to Discuss Connie Converse at North Adams Library

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The North Adams Public Library and MASS MoCA's Research & Development Store will host author Howard Fishman on Wednesday, April 9, at 6 p.m. Fishman will present and read from his book, "To Anyone Who Ever Asks," which details the life of singer-songwriter Connie Converse.
 
The event will take place in the library's 3rd-floor community room. Fishman's book chronicles Converse's life and musical career, incorporating research, travel, and interviews. Converse resided in North Adams at one point in her life.
 
Writer Anne Margaret Daniel will join Fishman for the presentation.
 
Copies of "To Anyone Who Ever Asks" will be available for purchase at the event. Pre-orders can be made through the MASS MoCA Research & Development Store website.

Weekend Outlook: Art Week, Farmers' Markets, Pancake Breakfasts
