Unbeaten Hoosac Valley Survives Challenge from Lenox

ADAMS, Mass. – Hannah Lord went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles and three runs batted in Friday to lead the Hoosac Valley softball team to an 18-12 win over Lenox.

 

Rachael Wnuk was 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBIs, and Izabela Tart was 3-for-3 with a double in a 20-hit attack for the Hurricanes.

 

Gracelyn Wright earned the win in the circle, allowing six earned runs in seven innings of work.

 

Amaya Alger, Grace Julieano and Lexi Witherell each homered for Lenox. Julieano and Cassidy Flynn each had three of Lenox’s 15 hits.

 

Flynn and Evelyn Julieano split time in the circle in the loss, allowing eight earned runs.

 

Lenox (7-3) hosts Wahconah on Saturday.

 

Hoosac Valley (12-0) goes to Greenfield on Saturday.
