Drury Downs Lee

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Madilyn Demary went 3-for-3 with a home run on Friday to lead the Drury softball team to a 16-3 win over Lee.

 

Sloan Brothers was 3-for-4 with a double, and Marie Fachini was 2-for-3 with a triple in a 15-hit Drury attack. Destiny Callendar and Vivian Vereschi also tripled.

 

Evelyn Richardson earned the win in the circle with a complete-game, five-inning performance. She struck out three and walked none while allowing no earned runs.

 

Kayla Clark went 2-for-3 to lead Lee’s offense. She also handled the pitching duties for the Wildcats, striking out five and allowing eight earned runs.

 

Lee (2-9) is at Mohawk Trail on Tuesday.

 

Drury (4-10) plays at McCann Tech on Tuesday.
