NORTHAMPTON, Mass. – Brooke Harrington had a hat trick, and the Wahconah girls lacrosse team Thursday came back from a four-goal half-time deficit to earn a 10-9 win over Northampton.

Anna Coyle and Mia Thomas each scored a pair of goals for Wahconah, which trailed, 7-3, after two quarters.

“To see the girls adjust at half-time to play an amazing second half was impressive,” Wahconah coach Kathy Budaj said. “Our defense was patient and worked extremely hard to force them to take lower angled shots which was huge against some very potent players. They played as a unit and made a great come from behind win.”

Mya Lee stopped five shots to earn the win in goal.

Wahconah (8-1) takes a four-game winning streak into Monday’s home game against South Hadley.
