Mount Greylock's Auger Hits Milestone in Road Win
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Mount Greylock captain Brady Auger recorded the 100th point of his high school career in a 20-4 win over Pittsfield on Wednesday afternoon.
Auger needed two points coming into the game to reach the milestone and wasted no time, scoring a pair of goals in the first quarter to help send the Mounties on to a dominating win with its highest offensive production of the season.
“Significant offensive performances were again delivered by multiple Greylock attackers and midfielders,” Mount Greylock coach Dan Collins said. “Of note was Reed Olney, who tallied six goals and one assist. Tanner Haig-Taylor put up two assists and two goals, one of which was a backhanded low level rocket.”
Jack Stratton recorded his first varsity goal for Mount Greylock, which has scored in double digits in each of its last five games.
Odin Wojtkowski stopped 70 percent of the shots he faced to earn the win in goal.
Mount Greylock (8-1) takes a seven-game winning streak into Friday’s home game against Wahconah.
