Mount Greylock Gets Back in Win Column
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Eli Kristensen went 3-for-4 with a triple and threw six innings on the mound Tuesday to lead the Mount Greylock baseball team to an 8-5 win over Northampton.
Kristensen struck out seven and allowed two earned runs in his six innings of work as the Mounties avenged an early season loss to the Blue Devils and snapped a three-game losing streak.
“The boys bounced back tonight,” Mount Greylock coach Rick Prais said. “I’m proud of how they keep competing.”
Asher Barrale went 3-for-4, and Emery Rotter was 2-for-4 in a 12-hit Mount Greylock attack.
Malcolm Leyda provided one inning of relief, not allowing an earned run.
Mount Greylock (5-8) goes to Mount Everett on Friday.
