Taconic Hands Central Its First Loss

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Gavin O’Donnell tripled and homered Thursday to lead the Taconic baseball team to a 4-2 win over previously unbeaten Springfield Central.
 
Quentin Christopher, in his second start of the season, went four innings before handing the ball to Ethan O’Donnell, who continued to hold down the Golden Eagles (8-1).
 
Taconic (4-6) takes a two-game winning streak into Monday’s home game against West Springfield.
