Wahconah Opens with Win at Drury

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Ben Barry went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI Monday to lead the Wahconah baseball team to a 6-3 win over Drury.

 

Aiden Arseneau and Luke Ferguson also doubled in an eight-hit attack for Wahconah, which led, 4-0, midway through the third inning.

 

Scott Hoffman and Ferguson split time on the mound, striking out nine.

 

Drury was led offensively by Connor Hinkell, who went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles.

 

The Blue Devils (0-1) host Monument Mountain on Thursday.

 

Wahconah (1-0) is at Mount Greylock on Wednesday.
