Wahconah Unified Track Team Wins Western Mass

HOLYOKE, Mass. – The Wahconah Unified track and field team Wednesday beat first-year program Monument Mountain to win the Division 1 West Sectional at Holyoke High School.

 

Dylan Johnson-Daly (shot put, 100 dash), Avionna Tatro-Hodges (shot, 100 dash), Artois Sancho (long jump, 100 dash), Wren Ferrari (shot put, 400 dash), Sophia Piantoni (long jump, 100 dash), Bryce Wood (shot put, 800 meters)  and Scarlett Pierce (long jump, 800 meters) were among the double-winners for Wahconah.

 

In the Division 2 meet, the Mount Greylock Unified team placed fifth in a field of 11 schools.

 

Sabrina Lakehal was a double-winner for the Mounties, taking first in her flight of the long jump and the 100-meter dash.
