Monument Mountain Names Valedictorian, Salutatorian for 2026
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — Monument Mountain Regional High School has named Sadie Honig-Briggs and Reese Duchesne as the valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, for the graduating class of 2026.
They will speak at graduation ceremonies on Sunday, June 7, at 1:30 at Tanglewood in Lenox.
Honig-Briggs lives in Tyringham with her parents and two younger siblings. She has been attending the Berkshires Hills Regional Schools since kindergarten. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at Volunteers in Medicine, teaching and playing the violin, acting, and camping with family and friends.
Honig-Briggs will be attending Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where she currently plans to study chemistry and music.
Duchesne resided in Bristol, R.I., before moving to Great Barrington in the winter of 2022. In her free time, she enjoys reading, solving crossword puzzles, spending time outdoors, working at SoCo Creamery, gardening, and socializing with friends and family.
Duchesne plans to study environmental science at Duke University in Durham, N.C.
