LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing crews will be conducting daytime and overnight hour guardrail repair, drainage work, pavement marking, and bridge repair operations at various locations and times on I-90 eastbound and westbound during the week of Monday, June 10.  

Lane closures will be in place during the construction operations and traffic will be able to travel through the work zones. 

 

The schedule for the work and lane closures will be as follows:    

Otis/Blandford    

Guardrail and drainage work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 21.0 to 26.6 on Monday, June 10, and Tuesday, June 11, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12

Otis

Guardrail repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 21.0 to 23.0, on Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14.

Blandford  

Bridge repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 westbound from mile marker 26.0 to 27.0, on Wednesday, June 12, and Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14.    

Stockbridge/West Stockbridge  

Guardrail and bridge repair work will be conducted nightly on I-90 westbound from mile marker 2.5 to 5.0, from Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14.

Stockbridge  

Drainage repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 4.6, on Tuesday, June 11, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

 

Drainage repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 6.0, on Wednesday, June 12, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

West Stockbridge  

Bridge repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 2.0 to 3.0, from Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the following morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14.  

Lee  

Pavement marking operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 7.3 to 15.8, on Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:30 a.m. on Friday, June 14.  

Drainage repair operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound at mile marker 8.2, on Monday, June 10, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.    

Drivers traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
