Arnhold Leads Wahconah Past Monument Mountain

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Kenadi Arnhold went 4-for-5 with a pair of home runs Wednesday to lead the Wahconah softball team to a 19-6, six-inning win over Monument Mountain.
 
Sammie Kaley was 3-for-5 with a home run and a pair of doubles, and Julia McComish went 2-for-4 with a homer and a double.
 
Mariah Barnes finished 4-for-5 in a 20-hit attack for Wahconah.
 
McComish went the distance in the circle, striking out five and allowing four earned runs.
 
Wahconah broke the game open with a seven-run third inning that featured an Arnhold home run to take an 11-5 lead.
 
For the Spartans, Lexi Carpenter went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, and Addison Kramek was 2-for-3.
 
Monument Mountain (3-6) hosts Mount Greylock on Friday.
 
Wahconah (9-1) is at Taconic on Friday.
