Ferris Leads Pittsfield Girls Past Southwick
PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Lily Ferris scored seven goals and recorded the 100th point of her high school career Monday in leading the Pittsfield girls lacrosse team to a 15-1 win over Southwick.
“Our circle was fantastic today [Lily, Ella Kroboth, Addie LaFerriere and Asia Smith-Moody] and controlled the area for increased offensive possession,” Pittsfield coach Molly West said. “We are proud of Lily for achieving 100 points as she is an exceptional athlete, leader and teammate. Looking forward to seeing what she accomplishes this year and the next.”
Ferris finished with nine points on Monday on seven goals and two assists.
Kroboth accounted for four goals. Smith-Moody scored twice, and LaFerriere and Dana Rodriguez added a goal apiece.
LaNiyah Gregory made three saves to earn the win in goal.
Pittsfield (5-2) is off until it goes to Springfield Central on April 28.
