Girls Lacrosse All-League Teams Named

Six members of the Western Massachusetts Champion Wahconah girls lacrosse team were named all-league this spring.

 

Senior Anna Doyle and five sophomores from the Wahconah squad were recognized by the coaches of the Valley League.

 

Doyle was joined on the squad by teammates Mia Thomas, Brooke Harrington, Chloe DiFazio, Rafaella Canino and Danielle Hagmaier.

 

Joining them on the all-Valley League team are four players from Mount Greylock: seniors Molly Cangelosi and Teigan Brady and juniors Reese Raymond and Meghan Lagerwall.

 

Twelve players from Berkshire County earned all-league honors in the Suburban League: Pittsfield's Lily Ferris, Asia Smith-Moody, Ariana Soausti, LaNiyah Gregory and Ella Kroboth; McCann Tech's Ryleigh Holland, Taylor Ziemba, Gabrielle Wells-Vidal and Jordyn Lloyd; and Lee's Faith Newton, Mallory Lucey and Ashley Sonsini.

 

In the Pioneer League, Hoosac Valley is recognized on the all-league team by Niya Borawski and Reagan Shea.
