LENOX, Mass. – Blake Hoff hit a two-out single in the bottom of the fourth to drive in the game’s only run Monday as the Lenox baseball team beat Easthampton, 1-0.

Robbie Bazinet struck out six and scattered three runs in a complete-game shutout win on the mound.

The winning rally started when Kody Lesser worked a leadoff walk.

He moved all the way to third on a throwing error, and, with two out, Hoff drove the second pitch he saw into left field to make it a 1-0 game.

That was all the help Bazinet needed. Though Easthampton kept the pressure on, putting the leadoff runner on base in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings.

Mason Daley and Seamus Cooney each went 2-for-3 in a seven-hit attack for Lenox.

The Millionaires (8-5) are home against Mount Everett on Wednesday.
