GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Brayden Durant and JJ Prenguber Monday teamed up on a five-hit shutout on the mound as the Drury baseball team beat Monument Mountain, 8-0.
 
Durant struck out five in six innings of work before giving the ball to Prenguber, who allowed one hit in the seventh.
 
Connor Hinkell led Drury’s offense, going 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles. Prenguber was 2-for-4 with two doubles and drove in a pair of runs.
 
Lucas Hamilton was 2-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, and Durant doubled and drove in a run.
 
Dominic Calautti was 2-for-4 with a triple to lead Monument Mountain.
 
Gus Luff, Caeden Thayer and Theo Curletti split time on the mound for the Spartans, striking out eight.
 
Monument Mountain (1-9) goes to Hampshire Regional on Thursday.
 
Drury (8-3) is home against Ware on Thursday.
