Mount Greylock Boys Advance in State Tournament

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Max Wied and Anders Tainter win their match at second doubles Wednesday to provide the third and clinching point of Mount Greylock’s 4-1 win over Carver in the first round of the Division 4 boys tennis State Tournament.

 

Tate Carothers and Oscar Heeringa cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins at first and second singles, respectively.

 

Fourth-seeded Mount Greylock (15-2) advances to the Round of 16 to face either No. 13 Bromfield or No. 20 Uxbridge, who meet on Thursday.
