Kurley, Josephs, Yankey Earn Three Wins Apiece

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Hoosac Valley’s Libby Kurley was a triple-winner Tuesday to lead the Hurricanes to a narrow track and field win over Mount Everett.

 

Kurley won the 100 meters, 200 and 400 as Hoosac Valley came out on the right side of a 34-29 score.

 

Taconic’s girls beat both the Hurricanes and Eagles.

 

Kiannah Josephs swept the shot put, discus and javelin for the Thunder.

 

Taconic’s boys also picked up a pair of dual meet wins.

 

Romeo Yankey was a triple winner, taking first in the 100, 400 and long jump.

 

Mount Everett’s boys beat Hoosac Valley behind Benjamin Vella, who took the mile and the two-mile runs.

 

For the Hurricanes, Logan O’Connell won the shot put and the discus.
