Berkshire Classic Returns to Stockbridge on Monday

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. – Mount Greylock junior Jacob Hillman Monday will look to defend his 2025 title at the Berkshire Classic Golf Championship.

Twenty-one of the county’s best high school golfers will get together at Stockbridge Golf Club as the event returns to its traditional home after two years.

Hillman won the event by one stroke last fall at Taconic Golf Club as a sophomore.

On Monday morning, he will look to become the first competitor to win two Classics since Wahconah’s Tim Kaley, who took first in 2022 at Stockbridge and 2024 at the Country Club of Pittsfield.

Hillman has been the anchor of a Mount Greylock team that has gone undefeated this season with 13 dual match wins in 13 outings.

In 10 of those matches, Hillman either claimed or shared medalist honors for the low score of the day on either team.

On Monday, he will tee off on the first hole of a 10 a.m. shotgun start with Wahconah’s Kesler Anello and Taconic’s Charley Driscoll.
