Mark E. Daigneault, 63

ADAMS, Mass. —

Mr. Mark Edward Daigneault, 63, of Adams, died Saturday morning, August 8, 2026 at North Adams Commons.

He was born in North Adams on August 21, 1962, son of the late Norman and Laurel (Smith) Daigneault. He attended Adams schools, graduating from Hoosac Valley High School.

Mark worked in several capacities at Goodwill Industries for many years. He was a member of the Berkshire Countywide team of the Special Olympics, where he won numerous awards. He also bowled with the Berkshire Bombers, and enjoyed swimming, playing cards, and spending time on the front porch at North Adams Commons.

Mark is survived by his sisters, Mary Ellen Daigneault-Martin and her husband, Timothy, of Peru, MA, Jean Burzimati and her husband Lorenzo of Hoosick Falls, NY, Ann Prudhomme and her husband Thomas of Adams, and Joyce Daigneault Cricco and her husband Anthony of Durham, CT, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13th at 11:00 AM in Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. A calling hour will be held in the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, on Thursday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM, directly before the Liturgy.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Care in the Berkshires, 877 South St. Pittsfield, MA 01201, or to the North Adams Commons Patient Activities Fund, 175 Franklin St. North Adams, MA 01247.
