Monument Mountain Regional High School students perform the Tony Award–winning musical that intertwines the mythic love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice with Hades and Persephone. CLARK ART AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARIES GALLERY TOURS

This talk explores the social importance of tea in colonial American life through an examination of period silver and furniture. Curator Alexis Goodin highlights the women who organized tea boycotts following the British government’s Tea Act of 1773. The group will meet in the Manton Research Center reading room.

CLAY TRINKET WALL SHELF WORKSHOP

Local ceramist Charlotte Shenassa leads this beginner-friendly workshop where participants use hand-building techniques and underglazes to sculpt and decorate custom clay trinket shelves. MASSACHUSETTS: A SONG OF ITSELF

State Poet Laureate Regie Gibson and a group of musicians use poetry, storytelling, and song to explore the founding of the Commonwealth through the perspectives of marginalized individuals. The performance traces the region's history from early interactions between Indigenous peoples and settlers through the American Revolution. EL ILUMINADO: A MYSTERY OF SANTA FE WITH ILAN STAVANS

At the Yiddish Book Center

The graphic novel, El Iluminado, tells the story of a secret history of religion in the Americas, showing how thousands of European refugees have left a trail of ghostly footprints—and troves of mysteries—across the American Southwest. Author and cultural critic Ilan Stavans will talk about the book and the newly released paperback edition, which includes a new afterword recounting the amazing events that occurred after the original publication, including the real-life discovery of the long-lost memoir of Luis de Carvajal and its restoration to Mexico.
