Ellen D. (Shea) Baclawski, 80, of North Adams, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Born in North Adams on June 29, 1945, she was the beloved daughter of the late Irving and Dorothy Helen (Blanchard) Shea. Ellen was a proud graduate of Drury High School and dedicated many years of hard work to Sprague Electric. Her deep empathy and kindness shone through later in life during her career as a devoted home health care aide, where she touched many lives.

Ellen was predeceased by her beloved husband, Gerald Joseph Baclawski, whom she married on October 21, 1967, and who passed on November 22, 2008. She was also predeceased by her son, Joseph Baclawski; her sister, Pamela Jelley; and her brother, Timothy Shea.

Ellen leaves her loving son, Eric M. Baclawski, daughter Karen Pessolano (Randy), and her  granddaughter Candice all of North Adams.

FUNERAL NOTICE: Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ellen's life on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Flynn & Dagnoli Funeral Home-WEST CHAPEL 521 West Main St. North Adams, MA 01247. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will be private in the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA.
