MARKETING, TOURISM, AND BUSINESS RELATIONS BETWEEN JACOB’S PILLOW AND THE TOWN OF LEE

To conclude the month-long exhibit “Jacob’s Pillow in Lee, Mass.,” hosted by the Lee Library, the Lee Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a closing reception with three speakers from Lee: Alex Heddinger, Vinny Vigilante, and Bill Yehle. They will lead a discussion on marketing, tourism, and business relations between Jacob’s Pillow and the Town of Lee.

The Community Garden at Canoe Meadows in Pittsfield has been welcoming organic green thumbs to its 4.5-acre garden for more than 30 years. The Gardens are open from May to October, so there's still plenty of time to get growing. LEE ON LEGS & WHEELS: 250 YEARS OF PERSONAL TRANSPORTATION

Lee Historical Society will mount a major exhibit entitled “Lee on Legs & Wheels: 250 Years of Personal Transportation” at the J. Peter Scolforo Gallery in the Lee Library during the entire month of July.  This exhibit traces the history of getting around in and out of Lee, activities that shaped the town we live in today.  Come and ride with us as we traverse the hilly landscape in our fast-moving 2026 exhibit.

This exhibit is free and open to the public during regular library hours.

Sign up for the entire series of five classes held at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Each class will begin in the galleries of Norman Rockwell Museum’s American Stories: Revolution to Rockwell with a discussion of a work on view that connects to the theme of that day’s class.

“THE ‘JEWISH’ MUSICALS: JEWISH LIFE ON BROADWAY,” WITH LAURA WETZLER
Pittsfield, 10:30 am

join acclaimed performer and educator Laura Wetzler for an multimedia exploration of Jewish stories, characters, and themes in the Broadway musical. This free program is part of Jewish Federation of the Berkshires’ Connecting With Community series at Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road in Pittsfield. It will be followed by a kosher hot lunch. Lunch is a $3 suggested donation for adults over 60 years of age or $7 for all others. Advance reservations are required for lunch and can be made by calling (413) 442-2200 by 9 a.m. Wednesday, the day BEFORE the program.
