MAH JONGG MEETUP

Becket, 2 - 4 p.m.
Join friends and neighbors for a fun afternoon of Mah Jongg! We are no longer offering Beginners Lessons but will continue to offer two intermediate/experienced tables. Please bring your own tiles and 2026 National Mah Jongg League cards if you have them. A limited number of cards will be available to use. We’ll confirm the day before whether we have enough players for a game. There is a bonus date every 3rd Thursday from 6-8pm (during Game Night). Registration required.

Congratulations to this year's Berkshire 25! A reception will be held honoring this year's Berkshire 25, sponsored by Beacon Bank and hosted at Beacon Cinema in Pittsfield. Everyone is invited! Please stay afterwards for a movie, which includes special screenings of Other Mommy and Raiders of the Lost Ark, both of which feature 2026 Berkshire 25 honoree Karen Allen. Proceeds from the event go to the non-profit 1761 Arts.

'REMEMBER THIS' SCREENINGS
Williamstown, 7 p.m.
"Remember This: The Lesson of Jan Karski" will screen at Images Cinema on Oct. 14 and again on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 5 p.m. at the North Adams Public Library. Admission to the Images is screening is on a sliding scale (tickets here); the library screening is free.
The post-screening discussion at Images will be moderated by Sharon Wyrrick with guest panelists Mariah Hepworth, assistant professor of history at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, and bestselling author and journalist Michelle Young.
