CLARK ART - THE MET: LIVE IN HD: EL ÚLTIMO SUEñO DE FRIDA Y DIEGO

The spring opera series concludes with a live HD simulcast of El Último Sueño de Frida y Diego. This contemporary work explores the lives of artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera through a soaring operatic score. Tickets are $25 and include access to intermission interviews and backstage content.

STORYTIME WITH STAY & PLAY

Becket, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Becket Athenaeum hosts a storytime from 10:30 to 11 followed by an hour of stay and play with toys, games, puzzles, and snacks for the kids, along with coffee, tea, snacks, and time for connection for the caregivers. Stop by for either or both.

A HORSE OBSERVED: AN EQUESTRIAN EXHIBITION

This equestrian-themed exhibition is presented in conjunction with a retrospective of Sam Savitt, honoring his influence on the art of the horse. On display through June 21 at the Monument Arts & Cultural Center, 44 Gyspy Lane, Bennington. Galleries are open Friday through Sunday fom 11 to 4.

ST. NICHOLAS ORTHODOX CHURCH OPEN HOUSE

Come find out what Orthodox Christianity is. Open House on Saturday, May 30, Noon-4pm at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 1304 North Street, Pittsfield, MA
Two sessions, with Q&A, at 12:30 and 2:30
2:30 session will be followed by an evening worship service where our priest will explain each aspect of the service as it goes along.
Come join us for an open house where we present a high level view of the Orthodox Church, her beliefs, her history, and some of her distinctive characteristics and practices.
As the Orthodox Church gains national attention, both good and bad, and was reported to have received as many as 20,000 converts this year, this status is changing. If you’ve ever been curious to find out what is Orthodox Christianity, then “Come and see!”
